PAD ART FAIR 2014, BERKELEY SQUARE : NEW WORK BY JASON MARTIN AND ANNIE MORRIS AT PAD LONDON

NEW WORK BY JASON MARTIN AND ANNIE MORRIS AT PAD LONDON

Louisa Guinness Gallery is delighted to announce that they will again be exhibiting at PAD London in October this year.

The gallery will be presenting a selection of work by contemporary artists including a debut project with Jason Martin and other work by Annie Morris, Anish Kapoor, Claude Lalanne and Tim Noble and Sue Webster.

Jason Martin's remarkable series of rings, bracelets and pendants perfectly capture the depth of colour and textured, sculptural-brushwork for which his paintings are known. Each unique piece is made from a swirl of pigment, giving the impression of an inexplicably static paint-fleck resting on the wearer's body.

In her new work, Annie Morris continues her fascination with the humble clothes peg. Originally using the clothes pegs as a canvas for her female character that she draws repeatedly on thousands of pegs and then assembles into her larger works, Morris further elevates the status of the domestic clothes peg by casting it in silver.
