Archive reference NS/10 signed 'Niki de Saint Phalle, 1974' and numbered, stamped with archive number, 750 and makers mark 'GM' (to the reverse). This work is a continuation of the edition started in 1974, completed in 2015.

The infamous Nana became synonymous with St Phalle’s work and allowed her to embody her feminist practice further. What better medium than adornment to interrogate the female experience? Her jewellery designs were notoriously difficult to execute as the complex enamelling had to be fired at a different temperature for each colour - a feat of craftsmanship perfectly exemplified by this 'Nana Brooch and Pendant'.
