Always keeping the wearer in mind, Man Ray’s jewels are never impractical or obtrusive. His 'Le Trou Ring' fitting example of his exploration of jewellery as a means to play with illusion, language and form as he employed the medium to further explore the artistic preoccupations of his career. Designed to affect the perception of the wearer it is a fitting addition to his Surrealist oeuvre.
